Corrections

PlainSalary publishes U.S. federal and state income tax figures sourced from the IRS (Rev. Proc. 2025-32), the Social Security Administration, the Tax Foundation, and state Departments of Revenue. If a number on the site doesn't match its source, we want to know - and we ship the fix through our versioned data pipeline so the update history is preserved.

Removal requests

If you represent an agency or jurisdiction and would like a specific record reviewed or removed, email the same address with proof of authority. We handle legitimate requests promptly and record the change in our update history.

How fixes are published

Tax data corrections are made at the source, we re-ingest the corrected value into the database, and every page that renders that value updates live on the next request. Because each ingest is versioned, earlier vintages remain auditable. Our methodology page describes the full data pipeline and source list.
